Kaito KA007L 4-Way Powered Emergency AM/FM/SW NOAA Radio with Lamp at $44.99, can function for up to an hour with only two minutes of hand cranking or an hour's exposure under direct sunlight. Its built-in generator ensures access to local news and information as well as to news from around the world in case of a power outage or natural disaster.
KA007L offers four power sources including hand crank which charges the internal Ni-MH batteries and solar power which plays or charges the radio. Twelve hours of sun allow 6-8 hours of play time. The included AC adapter offers 72 hours of play with a 6-hour charge and the KA007L will also run on 3 AA batteries.
